Darren is in his second full season as first team Manager having taken over from previous manager Rick Ranshaw in December 2006. Darren joined Lincoln Moorlands Railway as a player in 2006 at the end of an illustrious non-league career that saw him represent Lincoln United, Grantham Town & Worksop Town. Darren was also part of the original Lincoln Moorlands first team set up in 1989 by his father Stan Dye & he has now come full circle to manage the team originally set up by Stan.
NEIL FLEMING
AGE: 58
DOB: 9th January 1950
POSITION: First Team Physio
Neil has carried the bag at 'The Moors' for a number of years working with different managers along the way. Ever reliable Neil not only brings a wealth of medical knowledge but has also worked as an unofficial assistant to the different managers he has worked with over the years using the experience he has gained during his years in the game. A very accomplished player in his day Neil has also managed at local level and has been attached to such clubs as Lincoln United, Lincoln City, Grantham Town & Gainsborough United in different roles during a long and distinguished career in non-league football. A very well respected member of staff at Newark Road Neil is very much an integral part of the team.
PHILLIP McGANN
AGE: 24
DOB: 21st June 1984
POSITION: Goalkeeper
SIGNED: 2008 for Lincoln United
Phil joined ‘The Moors’ on loan from Lincoln United mid way through last season & proved himself to be a very competent goalkeeper, playing at this level for the first time in his career. Manager Darren Dye will be looking for Phil to cement the No. 1 spot this season & impose himself a little more having learnt from his premier league experience last year.
MARK NEAVE
AGE: 22
DOB: 11th October 1985
POSITION: Goalkeeper
SIGNED: 2008 from Forest Town
Mark is a new signing for the 2008/2009 season & he will be vowing with Phil McGann for the No. 1 jersey. Mark played for local rivals Nettleham for 4 seasons picking up 2 player of the season awards before joining Forest Town for the 2007/2008 campaign. Finished runner up in the Central Midlands Supreme Division last season with Forest Town & is looking to make the step up to play his football at this level.
ADAM GILBERT
AGE: 28
DOB: 18th January 1980
POSITION: Centre Back
SIGNED: 2003 from Lincoln United
Adam is an uncompromising centre back who always gives 100%, a former captain of the side Adam leads by example & he is more than prepared to go in where it hurts & when fully fit he is one of the first names on the team sheet. Despite a serious back injury last season ‘Gilly’ got stronger and stronger as the season progressed & provided his fitness holds up he will be an integral part of this season’s campaign.
KAHMEEL SPENCE
AGE: 24
DOB: 24th March 1984
POSITION: Centre Back/Right Back
SIGNED: 2007 from Bourne Town
'Spence' is a tall and powerfull defender with a great engine, who's fitness, due to his role as an RAF PTI, is second to none. Signed for the club last season and was just beginning to settle in at the club when an horrific injury ruled him out for the last six months of the season. Hopefully this season, with a good run of games 'Spence' can once again show the form that has made him a much sought after Defender.
JAMIE CHESMAN

POSITION: Centre Back/Right Back
SIGNED: Re-signed in 2007
‘Chesy’ is in his second spell at Lincoln Moorlands Railway having originally signed for the club under the management of Gary Goddard in 1995. Current manager Darren Dye re-signed Jamie last year & this very experienced defender has provided plenty of vocal support to his teammates & his knowledge at this level will be valuable this season.
SIMON CLIFFORD
AGE: 23
DOB: 4th April 1985
POSITION: Centre Back/Left or Right Back/Sweeper
SIGNED: 2008 from Nettleham
Another new signing this year Simon has joined us from local rivals Nettleham & has proved a good acquisition. He has played in a number of different positions during pre-season and has acquited himself well wherever he has been asked to play. a confident person on and off the pitch Simon is a great charachter to have at the club & he will be looking to play a part in the first team in the coming season.
PAUL BARTLE
AGE: 25
DOB: 8th April 1983
POSITION: Centre Back/Left Back
SIGNED: 2008 from Lincoln United
Paul is an elegant defender who as well as being good in the air is also more than comfortable with the ball at his feet. Started his early career at Lincoln Moorlands before making the step up to play for Lincoln United. Due to a change of Managers & Paul's own commitments playing for the University things didn't work out as Paul had hoped at Ashby Avenue. After that setback he took a couple of seasons out from football before re-joining 'The Moors' hoping to resurrect his career and the undoubted talent he has.
LUKE JENNINGS
AGE: 24
DOB: 28th Decenber 1983
POSITION: Midfield
SIGNED: 2007 from Norwich United
Luke is in his third spell at the club having started his senior career at the club at the age of 16. Due to the high priority Luke has put on his education he has left the city on a couple of occasions to continue his studies, unfortunately for 'The Moors'. Re-joined the club this time at the start of the 2007/2008 season having spent a year at Norwich United. Always a Manager's dream, Luke is a young lad with a great attitude, who has played in a number of different positions, never failing to give 100% and never once complaining and he will play an important part, wherever picked, in this seasons League campaign.
CHRIS NUTALL
AGE: 19
DOB: 27th May 1989
POSITION: Midfield/Forward
SIGNED: 2008 from Rustons
Youngster Chris has showed some real promise in pre season and is a very exciyting young talent. Has made a big step up signing from local side Ruston's during the summer he has shown he has the potential to perform at NCEL level. Still needs to work on the defensive side of his game and learn to concentrate for 90 minutes but undoubtably has a special talent and is very adept at beating his defender in a one on one situation.
DOMINIC JENNINGS

DOB: 31st Decenber 1981
POSITION: Midfield
SIGNED: 2008 from Manor United (Sunday League)
Brother of Luke, dominic joined the club from Manor United this summer taking part in the full pre season programme. Although it is a big step up for Dominic from playing local Sunday football his hardworking, enthusiastic attitude has helped him to make a big impression in the games he has played and the club are sure he will be a valuable addition to the first team squad.
ROSS FLEMING
AGE: 26
DOB: 17th May 1982
POSITION: Midfield
SIGNED: 2003 from Lincoln United
Ross is a tough tackling midfielder who has been a main stay at the club since being signed by previous manager John Priestly. Last season was a stop start one for Ross having picked up a long term injury at the start of the season, but with a good pre season behind him current manager Darren Dye will be looking for Ross to use his experience to help the team this season in a deep lying midfield roll.
NICK ROBINSON
AGE: 35
DOB: 10th May 1973
POSITION: Midfield
SIGNED: 2001 from Collingham
Nick is the current first team captain & also the oldest & longest serving player at the club having been signed by Gary Goddard in 2001. Formally an attacking midfielder as father time has caught up with Nick his forages forward have become less frequent but he is still a valuable member of the first team squad & looks to help in the development of the younger players in the squad & the future of the football club.
ALEX HANSON
AGE: 21
DOB: 26th October 1986
POSITION: Midfield
SIGNED: 2008 from Glasshoughton
Although Alex joined the club as an attacking midfielder he has impressed in a lone striking role in pre season, showing flashes of great skill, along with a good eye for goal. A player with a great work ethic who can fill a number of positions, never failing to give 100%, his addition to the squad was a big plus during the summer. Previously at Glasshoughton Alex has the experince of playing at this level and is still young enough to blossom into a terrific player.
MARK CURTIS
AGE: 22
DOB: 30th March 1986
POSITION: Left/Right wing
SIGNED: 2007 from Nettleham
Mark is a tricky & speedy winger who was another one to make the switch from Nettleham, joining just before Christmas last year. Suspension last season cost him a good run of games just as it seemed ‘Twiggy’ was coming to terms with football at this level, so everyone is hopeful that he will be able to cement a regular place in the first team & fulfil the undoubted potential he has.

Chris is a very talented ball playing midfielder who joined the club from local rivals Boston Town just after Christmas last year. Played the majority of games from then until the end of the season and the experience of playing in the Premier last season will help him in his development and if he can learn to make the correct decisions at the correct time he could have a key role in the first team this season.

Another new signing this summer from local football James has won several player of the season awards in his brief senior career. A very hard working player who always gives 100% he has good ability on the ball. Still adjusting to playing at this level but has shown he is willing to listen and if he can develop in the way the club hope he could develop into a valuable member of the first team squad.
STUART HANSON

Stuart joined the club this summer along with Dominic Jennings from local Sunday side Manor United and like Dominic has adjusted very well to this level of football. A very intelligent player Stuart has great ability on the ball and has shown a keen eye for goal. Although not the biggest of players, Stuart has shown he can look after himself on the pitch and has proved to be very good in the air. A player who has shown he has the ability to make a real impact at NCEL premier league level.
CRAIG BRIDGE

Craig finished last season as top scorer, which was a remarkable achievement, having missed the early part of the season after a disagreement with manager Darren Dye. Craig matured after that & has become a better player for it & if he continues to listen to the advice he is given can develop into a very capable player at this level. A strong robust centre forward Craig causes havoc to opposition defences & will be looking to top the goal scoring charts again this season.

Brother of Manager Darren, Dean has had an illustrious career playing at the likes of Lincoln United, Boston Town and Grantham Town. Coming to the end of his playing days his experience is a valuable asset to have at the club bearing in mind the number of young players in the current squad. In his younger days Dean was a lightning quick forward, playing on the shoulder of the last defender, regulary topping the scoring charts of the team he was playing for at the time. Over the years as his pace has lessened Dean has shown the range of his ability by re-inventing himself as more of a target man, holding the ball up and bringing others into play.
